BECAUSE HE LIVES......
Because He Lives
God sent His son, they called Him Jesus
He came to love, heal, and forgive.
He lived and died to buy my pardon,
An empty grave is there to prove my Savior lives.
Because He lives, I can face tomorrow.
Because He lives, All fear is gone.
Because I know He holds the future,
And life is worth the living just because He lives.
How sweet to hold a newborn baby,
And feel the pride and joy he gives.
But greater still the calm assurance,
This child can face uncertain days because He lives.
Because He lives, I can face tomorrow.

And then one day I'll cross the river,
I'll fight life's final war with pain.

Psalm 23
The Lord Is My Shepherd
A Psalm of David.
23:1 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2 He makes me lie down in green pastures.
He leads me beside still waters. [1]
3 He restores my soul.
He leads me in paths of righteousness [2]
for his name's sake.
4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, [3]
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.
5 You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies;
you anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.
6 Surely [4] goodness and mercy [5] shall follow me
all the days of my life,
and I shall dwell [6] in the house of the Lord
forever. [7]

IMPORTANT!
If you did'nt already know life is way to short.Don't waste it harboring grudges or contemplating on how ignorant some people can be. Hug and kiss your loved ones.Tell them how much you love and adore them. Let them know you are there for them.Spouses.parents,children,grandchildren ,friends and neighbors,anyone and everyone one!Spread the love.Spread God's love.
This past Wednesday Heaven was blessed with yet another Angel. Christine,even before you became an angel in Heaven you were (and will continue to be) here on earth.I cherish each and every moment we shared together.How long have we known each other?since we were 8 and in the third grade!FIFTY years ago.I feel loss and sadness for myself but know how much you love the Lord,even pursuing Pastoral Studies,so I feel great peace in knowing you are with our Father......I love you Chris!
Now please,please, let someone know how important they are to.And praise God for His tender mercies!
This past Wednesday Heaven was blessed with yet another Angel. When entering a hotel (where she and her husband were staying),
Gladys, a devout Baptist, noticed a shabbily dressed man
lounging idly in front of the newspaper stand in the lobby.
She noticed that several men stopped to talk to him and gave him
a little money.
He seemed so cheered by the encounters. She impulsively put ten
dollars in an envelope, wrote "God Bless" on the outside,
and handed it to him.
The next day, the man stopped her on the street.
"Here's your $250," he said, cheerily.
"God Bless won, 25 to 1!"

SO SAD.....
Saturday night a young woman named Katie passed away due to a drug over dose.She was only 26 with a 10 year old daughter.She fought the war with drugs for years and years and finally lost.My heart is just breaking for her mom,dad(who is in the final stages of lung cancer)and her darling daughter Michelle.She did not know the Lord nor does the family so it makes this situation even more difficult.Please pray that the community can come together and helop this family.Especially young Michelle.There is no Dad in the picture.Never has been. Prayers so,so,so needed.Thank-you,prayers
