Remember....

Somtimes things really stink....illness,arguments with loved ones and list is endless. When I am extremmely sad like today(it will be 1 year next week that my wonderful mother was called home to be with the Lord) this scripture always comes to mind and I find great peace and strength in it!!!!!

To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven. (Ecclesiastes- ( 3:1).

Love,prayers and blessings to all.......

  1. I also find those verses to be very comforting.

I love the Carpenters music for it!

In Judaism, the passing of the first year after a loved one's death marks the end of a year of mourning rites and rituals.

On the one hand, the passing of a year is a milestone in our process of accepting our loss. On the other hand, it is a push toward living life, a strong message that we are meant to live in this world in happiness, with an eye towards the future. Still, every year, on the anniversary of our parent's death, we light a memorial candle and recite a special prayer for mourners.
